BOARD STRATEGIC PLAN
- Program Enhancement & Development
- Expand Career and ACE-IT programs
- Further development of Advanced Learning Programs
- Review and refocus District Alternate Programs and English Development direction
- Develop program areas for film production and the environment
- Continue implementation of Learning Support Services Review recommendations
- Building Leadership & Capacity
- Provide a range of leadership development sessions and opportunities for growth for teachers, administrators, support staff, parents and students
- Provide comprehensive staff development programs to support best practice
- Promoting Safe and Healthy Schools
- Review our practices and procedures as they relate to safe, caring and orderly schools
- Continue to work with our community partners to support preventative and intervention strategies for our youth
- Continue to support and expand our healthy initiatives
- Continue to raise awareness of health and safety issues as they relate to Workplace BC

- Continue to review and adjust our long term strategies plan for the utilization of school space and program development
- Continue to work with SFU to facilitate an elementary school opening on campus
- Monitor enrolment patterns so that we can continue to make adjustments to our Long Term French Immersion Plan
- Continue to work on a replacement District Administration Office

- Continue discussions with our business community regarding supporting our new schools and programs

- Increase presence and profile of trustees in our community
