BOARD COMMITTEES
Trustees meet in standing committees to discuss school district matters. These committees consist of appointed trustees and district administrative staff. Some also have parents, students and community representatives. Committees make formal recommendations to the Board at regular Board meetings. There are area-specific committees within each of the groups listed below.

Standing Committee Meetings
Public meetings of the Burnaby Board of Education's standing committees are held at the District Administration Office, 5325 Kincaid Street. Members of the community are welcome to attend all public standing committee meetings. The agendas are posted online the Monday morning prior to the scheduled public meeting and the committee reports of these meetings are posted the week that they are approved by the Board. The Committee meeting reports are available to view.
