INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION
- open to students in Grades 11 or 12, 15 years of age or older
- dual credit program: students receive graduation credits (vary depending upon program – see individual program links) plus industry recognized certification in non-apprenticeable careers
- combination of course work and work experience leading to graduation and recognized industry certification
- school-arranged work experience scheduled to fit school, student and employers schedules
- taught in a specific Burnaby secondary school
- formal Application Process is required:
- Students apply through their home school and submit a completed Application Package

- Applications are screened at the school and district levels
- Selected candidates are interviewed by the Career & Transitions Program Consultant and teacher
- Accepted candidates and parents are invited to a program information session
