INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION
The Burnaby School District offers the exciting opportunity for students from overseas to study in one of its 8 secondary or 41 elementary schools while experiencing a beautiful part of the world. International students can begin their studies in September, January (elementary), or February (secondary). Students can enroll for a summer, a semester, a school year, or more.
General information on this program is available in Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Thai.
Information for Prospective Students
February 2012 Intake
- We are no longer accepting applications for any of our semester schools: Burnaby Central, Byrne Creek, Alpha
- We still have limited space available at our linear schools: Burnaby Mountain, Burnaby North, Burnaby South, Moscrop, and Cariboo Hill
- We are still accepting applications for our elementary schools
September 2012 Intake
- We are currently accepting applications for all Burnaby schools for September 2012.
- Please note we do not accept applications from students who turn 18 years of age before July 1, 2012. While our age limit is 17 years, we strongly recommend students wishing to graduate start at a younger age in order to have a better chance of success.
- Students who turn 18 years of age before July 1st and are interested in earning an Adult High School Diploma can apply to study at our Adult High School. For more information about our Adult High School , please contact international@sd41.bc.ca.
