APPOINTMENT OF CUSTODIAN
For parents who will not be residing with their child in Canada, Immigration Canada requires that a custodian be appointed to act in their place. The custodian must be 25 years or older and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. This is also a requirement of the Burnaby School District.
