DISTRICT ACHIEVEMENT CONTRACT
A district achievement contract is a public statement of commitment by the Board of Education to improve success for each student. Based on a collaborative assessment of the needs and priorities of our students, the contract:
- identifies areas of focus for the improvement of student success
- describes strategic actions
- outlines processes to monitor progress and
- makes adjustments intended to improve results.
As literacy is a primary focus of Burnaby's achievement contract, the District's extensive Literacy Plan is also available for review.
